  3. Under Playback tab, select your speaker, and click Properties button.

  5. Select this option: 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality), and then click OK | OK.

Update your Drivers

You may experience Skyrim crash if the device drivers installed on your computer are out-of-date. You should search latest versions of all the installed drivers and download them to your computer.

  1. Download a Driver Scanner program such as Driver Reviver.
  2. Install and run it.
  3. Start scanning for the latest driver versions online.
  4. Install them, and then reboot your computer.

Add Required Hardware

Your computer might be missing a few hardware which are mentioned in the ReadMe file. Put the Skyrim installation disc in appropriate driver, open the root directory, and double click the ReadMe file. There is a section called Minimum System Requirements, and upgrade your hardware accordingly.
